Jewelry Television and TV Guide Get Red Carpet Ready

Jewelry Television and TV Guide Magazine Group, Inc. are red carpet ready and hope jewelry and movie fans everywhere are, too. In honor of the upcoming February 25 Academy Awards and consumer interest in celebrities and what they wear, the powerhouse media companies announce the first-ever "Get Red Carpet Ready" sweepstakes. Three jewelry enthusiasts who enter to win will walk away "award show ready" with $43,000 worth of merchandise, including a diamond tennis bracelet, tanzanite ring and an emerald ring.

"Jewelry Television viewers appreciate us keeping up with the latest trends and offering beautiful and affordable jewelry," explains Bill Kouns, President of Jewelry Television. "Jewelry is the ultimate accessory to dramatically impact any wardrobe. Our hope is that our sweepstakes winners will walk away looking and feeling like stars!"

Between February 8 and March 1, people across the country can enter to win one of three Hollywood-inspired jewelry pieces at www.JTV.com/tvguide. The grand prize 10.60 carat diamond tennis bracelet, valued at $10,000, is set in 14kt white gold. First prize is a 8.23 carat tanzanite and .70 carat round diamond ring with an appraised value of $15,000. Second prize is a 11.40 carat pear-shaped emerald and .60 carat marquise diamond ring valued at $8,000.

Jewelry Television will air two special "Red Carpet Collection" programs to inspire and excite viewers for the Academy Awards. Jewelry Television's Nikki Rouleau will host the February 19, 8 p.m. -- 12 a.m. ET, and February 24, 7 p.m. -- 12 a.m. ET shows, which will feature expensive red carpet-worthy pieces, as well as affordable designer-inspired pieces.
