Pappas Telecasting Companies Names Andrew Wyatt General Manager/General Sales Manager of KSWT-TV, Yuma-El Centro

Pappas Telecasting Companies, the largest privately held, commercial television broadcast group in the United States, announced the appointment of long-time broadcaster Andrew Wyatt to the position of General Manager/General Sales Manager of KSWT-TV, its CBS affiliate in the Yuma, Arizona-El Centro, California market.

In making the announcement, Howard H. Shrier, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pappas Telecasting's TV Stations Group said, "We are very pleased to welcome Andrew Wyatt to Pappas Telecasting. His knowledge and experience will be valuable in raising our level of service to the communities reached by KSWT-TV and providing enthusiastic leadership for our employees in Yuma."

Before coming to Pappas Telecasting, Mr. Wyatt spent three years with Emmis Communications as Business Development Manager at KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Local Sales Manager at KGUN-TV in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to that, he was General Sales Manager for Internet Broadcasting Systems and operated his own marketing business, WWWyatt Communications, both in Albuquerque. He also served as General Sales Manager for Lee Enterprises' Albuquerque stations KASY-TV and KWBQ-TV, National Sales Manager for KRQE-TV, and Sales Manager for KBIM-TV in Roswell, New Mexico. Additionally, he held sales positions at WNWO-TV in Toledo, Ohio, and KTKA-TV in Topeka, Kansas.

Mr. Wyatt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications at the University of Kentucky. He has been a member of the Tucson Ad Federation, Albuquerque Ad Club, the Albuquerque Del Norte Rotary Club and Pecos Valley Rotary.
