Backchannelmedia

"My Bedbugs" is an educational and entertaining live action show that originated on WTVS-TV, Detroit Public Television in 2004. Daniel Alpert, Station Manager and COO for WTVS said, "As a viewer myself, I am most impressed with the way that My Bedbugs educates what we call The Whole Child. Through its different episodes, it addresses developmental concerns, cognitive skills, and most of all, it presents everyday situations and experiences for children to role model. My Bedbugs is good television with good heart. We are pleased to air it, associate with it, and help it find a bigger audience across America."

The show currently airs on public and commercial analog and digital stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Greenestuff is diligently adding to its repertoire, and "My Bedbugs" is also penetrating several video-on-demand platforms.

The "My Bedbugs" Program focuses on teaching preschool children positive behavior using songs, humor, and fun. The three Bedbugs, Gooby, Toofy and Woozy embark on a different learning adventure in each episode from the comfort of their own bedroom. J. Edgar, the wise vacuum cleaner character, advises and guides the little bugs along the way.

Since its first airing on PBS in 2004, "My Bedbugs" has earned the National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, the Parent to Parent Adding Wisdom Award, the Dove Foundation Family Approval Seal, the iParenting Media Award, as well as 12 Tellys and 13 Emmys. With 26 30-minute episodes now available, Greenestuff plans to produce a third season in early 2008.
