Interice Presents Plastic Skating Ring Super Glide

Access Czech Republic Business Bulletin

Interice has presented a unique plastic skating ring that was developed in the USA under the trademark Super Glide. The ring is composed of special interlocking polymer boards, which are 244 cm long, 137 cm wide and 2 cm thick. They make it possible to build skating rings of various shapes and sizes very fast. The material the boards are made of was invented by accident during NASA cosmic research. The ring does not require any energy or water. It can be used without roofing and in all weather. Skating on it is comparable with skating on a professionally treated ice surface. The glide of the skate is about 10% slower on the plastic surface than on classical ice, which is hardly distinguishable for laics.
