The Space-Saver Tote is a revolutionary new vacuum-seal storage system that combines two components to achieve its effectiveness. The rectangular shaped, outer tote is constructed of sturdy, canvas-like material and closes with a metal zipper. Attached to the inside is a high-capacity Space Bag storage bag that features an airtight, plastic zipper and patented one-way valve. An ordinary home vacuum cleaner hose will evacuate air from the bag through the one-way valve. When air is removed from the attached inner bag, its contents -- such as garments and bedding -- will compress and therefore require a fraction of their normal storage space. The outer tote is then zipped shut to encase the inner bag.
