PLANNED REACTION BUILDS VIRTUAL STUDIO FOR 20 FITTV DRTV SPOTS

SUGAR LAND, TX, MARCH 15, 2006: Planned Reaction, Inc., Houston-based Direct Response agency/production company, recently used an advanced production technique to complete twenty short-form DRTV spots for Discovery Channel subsidiary FitTV. Each spot promotes a fitness product available at FitTV's Body Shop store.

To meet a tight schedule -- and make the most of the massive project's budget Planned Reaction's in-house production team shot four fitness models demonstrating the various pieces of Body Shop exercise equipment using an advanced green-screen system, and placed them in a computer-generated virtual space custom-created for the twenty spots.

"The actual studio space we used was comparatively small and inexpensive," says Planned Reaction President/Creative Director Peter Vogt, "But the 'Body Shop' virtual studio we created appears to be quite luxuriously large. This is a good example of how you can create an environment to enhance a product's perceived value something too often overlooked in DR."

Planned Reaction created all production elements for the spot package in-house, from scripting to voice-overs. "We even scored the music beds for the spots in our facilities," adds Vogt: "We're totally turn-key on most jobs; an important advantage for most clients."
