Beginning next year, Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television will join together for a new morning program televised live from New York.
A press release from the companies said the new series will premiere in January and will offer viewers entertainment and general interest stories from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on all Fox affiliates.
The timing is perfect for us to launch this program as the morning news blocks on our Fox stations are stronger than they've ever been, Fox chief executive officer Jack Abernethy said in the release. That strength, coupled with the changing face of the morning news landscape, convinced us that the time to take advantage of this opportunity is now.
The live program will offer Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy of DaySide as it hosts once they complete their duties on the FOX News Channel series this fall, the release said.
