Cannella Response Television, Burlington, promoted Peggy Gobel to director of cable media, and Jayne Twist to cable media buyer. Previously, Gobel was a cable media buyer and Twist was a media assistant.
EPIC Creative, West Bend, hired Cheri Knoeck as an administrative assistant, Steve Labecki as a graphic designer and Kathy True as an account manager and senior designer. Knoeck will provide support to the company president and media buyer. Labecki is a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. True has more than 25 years of experience.
Scheibel Halaska hired Amy Wood as an account coordinator. She previously worked for NAS Recruitment Communications.
Education
Medical College of Wisconsin hired Joseph Carroll as an assistant professor of ophthalmology and biophysics and David Clark as assistant dean for clinical research. Carroll is also the vice chair of the Optical Society of America Applications of Visual Science Technical Group. Clark was previously the Stanley G. Harris professor of psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center.
Financial institutions
M&I Wealth Management announced that senior vice president Daryl Waszak will oversee the regional wealth management offices. He joined the company in 2003.
Waukesha State Bank promoted Paula Neis to vice president and Becky Green to officer. Neis joined the company in 1986 as a high school co-op teller and Green joined in 1997 as a teller.
Health care
Froedtert Hospital named Kurt Bechthold, Joan Prince and Michael White to its board of directors. Bechthold is president and chief executive officer of Payne and Dolan Inc. Prince is the vice chancellor for partnerships and innovation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. White is the chairman and chief executive officer of Rite-Hite Holding Corp.
Humana Inc., Waukesha, hired Robert Komula as vice president and chief financial officer for the Wisconsin and Michigan region. He will be responsible for all financial aspects of the company's commercial health insurance business in those states.
TomoTherapy Inc., Madison, appointed Sam Leno and Fran Taylor to its board of directors. Leno, who works for Zimmer Holdings, has more than 35 years of experience in corporate financial management. Taylor is retired from Bank of America.
Manufacturing
ABB Automation Products, Low Voltage Drives, New Berlin, hired Daniel Beaudet as vice president of quality systems. He was previously director of manufacturing and continuous improvement at Waukesha Engine/Dresser.
Plymouth Foam hired Kevin Copsey as director of sales and marketing and Tom Groth as marketing manager. Copsey will oversee the sales and marketing activities of five divisions. Groth spent eight years as a territory sales manager for National Gypsum Co.

Habitat for Humanity-Milwaukee named Klint Knueppel to its board of directors. He is the manager of Lutheran Community Services at Thrivent Financial.

Kalmbach Publishing Co., Waukesha, promoted Elfrieda Abbe to publisher of The Writer and Bead & Button. She joined The Writer in 2000 as an editor.

The Geo Group Corp., Madison, hired Molly Gansome as an assistant audio/video editor and Martin Thorstensson as an assistant proofreader/desktop publisher. Gansome has a degree in mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Thorstensson previously did freelance work for NBC during the last three Olympic Games.
