Sep. 14--The NFL Network will disappear from Time Warner Cable systems on Friday, said Gary Underwood, the cable provider's spokesman for North Texas. Time Warner had never carried the NFL Network before replacing Comcast as the Dallas area's primary cable provider at the start of August. Time Warner was blocked from immediately dropping the channel by the Federal Communications Commission, which ordered that customers be given ample notice.
