NEW YORK, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicom Media Group has appointed Thomas Rocco as Managing Director of Sales for the company's U.S. Strategic Business Units. Rocco is responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and fostering existing sales and marketing partnerships for OMG companies.
Rocco is based in New York and reports to Jill Botway, President of Omnicom Media Group's U.S. Strategic Business Units, highly specialized client service companies in businesses such as direct, search and touchpoint media.
An industry veteran, Rocco joins Omnicom Media Group from TNS Media Intelligence, a leading provider of strategic advertising and marketing information, where he held the position of Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. Prior to TNS, Rocco was President of CTN Media Group, a premier cable/satellite network delivered to over 800 colleges across the U.S, until its sale to Viacom/MTV, now known as MTVU.

Rocco's experience also spans the broadcast side of the industry, having held management positions at Discovery Communications, NBC Television Network, WNYW (Fox Television) and ABC Radio Network.
