Digital Hollywood announces the addition of the ITA "Re-Inventing Television Summit" as part of the schedule for Digital Hollywood LA. A special "combination ticket" will allow Digital Hollywood participants to deduct the price of their tickets from the Summit's 2-day pass. The combined event will provide the most thorough survey of next-generation television. It will bring together one of the largest concentrations of ITV professionals.
Says Digital Hollywood founder, Victor Harwood, "The addition of the ITV Alliance, SBCA and CEA events makes this year's Digital Hollywood LA a one-stop shop for everyone involved in the television industry." Adds ITA President, Ben Mendelson, "Digital Hollywood attracts the highest level speakers and participants from our industry. It makes sense for us to combine efforts."
The Re-Inventing Television Summit is an immersive 2-day retreat (Sep. 29 - 30), exploring all aspects of the next generation television. Topics include interface design, advertising tools, government on demand, and alternative distribution. Participants include leading executives from content, technology, advertising, and distribution. The ITA Bi-Annual Members Meeting precedes the event.
Both the Summit and ITA Meeting will be hosted on board the Queen Mary, an historic 1930's ocean liner dry-docked in Long Beach, CA. A Summit pass includes an overnight stay in one of the restored staterooms. Special arrangements will be made to transport participants from Digital Hollywood in Santa Monica to Long Beach.
Digital Hollywood LA will take place at the Lowe's Santa Monica Beach Hotel on Sep. 27 - 29. With 60 sessions and over 300 speakers, Digital Hollywood has become the premier entertainment and technology conference in the country. Over 15,000 top executives in the film, television, music, and computer industries attend the various events each year. For more information, go to www.digitalhollywood.com/DHFall2004Agenda.html
