Girls Gone Wild -- the well-known entertainment empire, takes on a new direction -- exceeding all expectations -- launching the much anticipated contemporary apparel collection for men and women, which will make its debut at MAGIC in February 2007.
Not one to be shy, Founder Joe Francis begins his next venture, crossing over into the fashion scene. While most take years to develop an entire collection, Girls Gone Wild comes out with an impressive launch of sportswear, loungewear, intimate apparel and swimwear.
"The Girls Gone Wild's brand has become a celebrity and icon in its own right," says Francis. "The clothing collection is our next step for continuing the growth of the brand and the affinity with our fans; there's a little Girls Gone Wild in every woman and our clothing line helps them to express that."
The collection exudes a carefree attitude while maintaining a contemporary level of design, manufactured with the highest quality materials and workmanship. Francis has hired top celebrity stylist, Jennifer Mallini, to head up the design team and collaborate with licensees, partners, and Maury Winnick, a longtime industry veteran, to head the sales efforts. Together they have assembled an impressive team of talented individuals to design, manufacture and distribute what is sure to become trend setting apparel.
With a targeted distribution to "A" list boutiques and better department stores, the company sought after licensing agreements with experts in each category. For the swim collection they signed on fashion visionary Ashley Paige, famous for her hand-made knit bikinis, and BB Originals to produce loungewear and intimate apparel. The feel of the collection is to mix quality fabrics and detailed designs with edgy, youthful directional pieces. Retail price points for tops, $32 to $72; outerwear, $98 to $198; bottoms, $72 to $148.
Girls Gone Wild clothing is inspired by the same irreverence as the brand itself, capturing the essence of youth and the fun of being young!
Girls Gone Wild Apparel has a showroom in Los Angeles at the Gerry Building Suite 603.
